About Lou

With two published Christian books and copious videos on youtube, Lou is building up quite a reputation.  She preaches the word of God mainly in Brazilian Portuguese with whatever God is speaking to her about, and armed with this, she updates her youtube channel regularly.

Lou bases the name of her ministry around James 2:20-24 and 1:22 (see James). Of course it is clear that Paul was convinced that faith alone saves the soul, as explained in Galatians 3:11 and Ephesians 2:8-9, so we do not receive eternal life through our own efforts and our own works. However, he does go on to say in verse 10 of Ephesians 2 that when we are justified by faith, we will naturally go on to carry out good works, according to God's will. "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (NIV). Good works are a natural result of growing in faith and love for God and our neighbor. James explains it another way in James 2:14 by declaring that faith without good works is useless, dead and does not save.
