If you met someone who came back from the dead after three days, you would certainly listen to what they have to say! Jesus' final message after he overcame death is:
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
Mark 16:15-18, NKJV

Going out and preaching the good news is the core of our calling. It is Jesus' instructions to us before and after his victory over death was won. As we remain in him and prove ourselves to be faithful, he will in turn confirm what we say as we explain his message with many miraculous signs. This is a gift of the Spirit he grants according to his grace, so it is paramount to not forget verse 20 of Mark 16 - “and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it” (NIV). Jesus' message was not to just teach his truth on its own; it is to be accompanied with marvels and wonders too – healing the sick, casting out demons, speaking in languages, protection from poisonous snakes and the ability to drink poison without harm. Witnessing about Christ's love and the manifestation of miracles go hand in hand – they are not supposed to be separated.
